Our club is chartered by the wonderful folks at Spanish Springs Elementary School PTO. We enjoy our partnership with them and look forward to helping both the PTO and the school in any way we can. We also appreciate all the conributions from the 4-H program through the Nevada Cooperative Extension

Exciting demonstrations and experiments at Spanish Springs Elementary School. We will apply the scientific process to explore our world.
Tours and Field Trips
Over the last few years Reno/Sparks has become a hub for technology companies. We will see several of these companies up close on tours and by having speakers come talk to us about what goes on at these companies. Keep an eye on our events list to see what's coming up.
Coding Sessions
We are currently working on finding local computer labs that will let us explore coding.

Kids Build Life Skills Through Hands-On Learning
Kids build life skills by leading hands-on projects in areas like science, health, agriculture and, civic engagement – helping them to grow confidence, independence, resilience, and compassion. Adult mentors provide a positive environment where they learn by doing. This 4‑H experience is delivered by a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation.

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. Scouts start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.
